Compress Photo

Compress Photo is designed to compress photos locally on your device. We do not create accounts, track you, use analytics, upload your photos, or collect personal data from the app.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information, photos, videos, device identifiers, analytics, diagnostics, contact information, location, or usage data from Compress Photo.

Photos and files

Photos you choose or capture are processed on your device for the purpose of creating compressed image files. Your photos are not sent to our servers and are not shared with us.

Compress Photo may create temporary working files, thumbnails, and compressed output files on your device while you use the app. These files are app-owned and are used only to support compression, preview, sharing, and saving actions you choose.

Photo library access

If you choose to save compressed photos, Compress Photo asks iOS for permission to add photos to your photo library. This permission is used only to save the compressed images you request.

Camera access

If you choose to take a photo in the app, Compress Photo asks iOS for camera access. Camera access is used only to capture the photo you choose to compress.

Metadata

Compress Photo is designed to remove photo location metadata from compressed outputs when it writes new compressed image files.

Third-party services

Compress Photo does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or cloud upload services.

Children's privacy

Compress Photo does not knowingly collect information from children or from any other users.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy if Compress Photo changes how it handles data. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
